Ham and Cheese Puff Pastries

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 oz ham, diced
  • 4 oz cheese (like cheddar or Swiss), shredded
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the puff pastry by thawing it if frozen and rolling it out.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares, roughly 4×4 inches.
  4. Mix the diced ham with shredded cheese, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Fill each pastry square with a heaping tablespoon of the ham and cheese mixture.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry into the center and seal with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
