Peach Cobbler Ice Cream

A delightful summer treat that combines the flavors of peach cobbler and creamy ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peach compote
  • 1 cup cobbler crumb pieces
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach compote by peeling and chopping peaches, then cook with sugar until syrupy.
  2. Mix the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar in a bowl until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and peach compote, stirring to combine.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Incorporate the cobbler crumbs near the end of churning.
  7. Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container, layering in extra crumbs if desired.
  8. Freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.

Notes

Serve in rustic bowls garnished with fresh peach slices, crushed cobbler crumbs, and a drizzle of salted caramel.
