Instructions

  1. Slice the onions thinly, about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Caramelize the onions in a large pot with butter and olive oil over medium heat for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add beef broth to the caramelized onions and let simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and slice the baguette into 1-inch pieces, baking until crispy.
