Copycat Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Recreate the delicious flavors of Longhorn Steakhouse’s Parmesan Crusted Chicken at home with this easy recipe.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped) (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Season the chicken with garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper while searing.
  4. Mix together the Parmesan cheese, provolone cheese, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, sour cream, and parsley in a bowl until combined.
  5. Lay the seared chicken breasts in a baking dish and spoon the crust mixture generously on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Rest the chicken for about 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with additional parsley if desired and enjoy!

Notes

Customize your recipe by adding crushed red pepper flakes or sun-dried tomatoes to the crust.
