Creamy Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Spicy Cajun Alfredo Twisted Pasta

A delectable dish featuring succulent steak bites in a rich garlic butter sauce served over twisted pasta with spicy Cajun Alfredo.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak (or chicken/turkey)
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add your twisted pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain, but remember to reserve about a cup of pasta water!
  2. Sear the Steak Bites: While the pasta is cooking, cut your sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces. Heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden crusted. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 4 tablespoons of butter. Let it melt, then toss in 4-5 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Mix in the Heavy Cream and Cajun Seasoning: Add the heavy cream and Cajun seasoning, whisking until smooth. Allow it to simmer for about 2-3 minutes until it starts thickening.
  5. Combine Pasta and Steak: Toss in the cooked pasta and steak bites, mixing gently until everything is well-coated. Adjust the creaminess by adding reserved pasta water if necessary.
  6. Finish with Parmesan: Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined.
  7. Taste & Adjust: Give it a taste test and adjust seasoning if needed.
