  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (for serving)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (for sauce)

Instructions

  3. Whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well blended.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the cubed bread, ensuring every piece gets soaked.
  5. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes to soak up the custard.

Notes

For best results, use day-old bread and consider experimenting with toppings and add-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
