Ghost Pancakes

Spooktacular pancakes that bring festive flair to your breakfast table, perfect for Halloween or any day of the year!

Ingredients

  • Pancake Batter: Use a homemade or store-bought mix.
  • Whipped Cream: For the ghostly faces, use store-bought or homemade.
  • Chocolate Chips or Raisins: For the eyes.
  • Syrup: Optional, for drizzling.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Whip the pancake batter by whisking together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in one bowl, then mixing the milk, egg, and melted butter in another.
  2. Preheat your griddle or skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  3. Shape the ghostly figures with the pancake batter on the griddle.
  4. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2–3 minutes, then flip to cook the other side until golden.
  5. Add whipped cream on top of the pancakes.
  6. Finish by placing chocolate chips or raisins for the eyes.

Notes

Serve with maple syrup or fruit compote and fresh fruit on the side.
