Indulge in a delicious twist on traditional nachos with crunchy apple slices drizzled with warm caramel and topped with nuts and chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Crisp tart apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Fuji, Gala)
  • 1 cup Caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds, or seeds for nut-free option)
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate drizzle (optional)
  • Pinch of Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples by washing and slicing into thin wedges.
  2. Heat the caramel sauce in the microwave for about 30 seconds, or prepare homemade caramel by melting sugar and cream together.
  3. Arrange the apple slices on a large platter in a circular pattern.
  4. Drizzle the warm caramel sauce generously over the apple slices.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top for added crunch.
  6. Optionally, drizzle melted chocolate over the nachos and finish with a sprinkle of sea salt.

Notes

For a nut-free option, substitute nuts with graham crackers or granola. Prepare apples with lemon juice to prevent browning if made ahead.
