Ingredients

  • Hot Dogs (beef, turkey, chicken, or plant-based)
  • Crescent Dough (alternatively puff pastry)
  • Candy Eyes (or small olives/chocolate chips)
  • Ketchup or Mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the hot dogs by setting them aside.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean, lightly floured surface.
  4. Cut the dough into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.
  5. Wrap the hot dogs with strips of dough, leaving gaps for a mummy look.
  6. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Add candy eyes to the cooled mummies using hot glue or frosting.
