  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder or Dutch-processed cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut or almond butter (or sunflower seed butter or tahini)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp dairy-free chocolate chips or 1/2 oz square of dark chocolate bar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 2 cups unsweetened soy milk or oat milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by measuring them out.
  2. Mix everything except the milk in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  3. Heat the milk in a separate saucepan until it begins to steam.
  4. Combine the heated milk with the pumpkin mixture and whisk vigorously.
  5. Serve it immediately or let it sit for a minute to enhance the flavors.
  6. Top with whipped cream, pumpkin spice, or chocolate chips as desired.
